Proprioception—our body’s ability to sense position, movement, and joint tension—plays a central role in balance, coordination, and strength expression. In a 2025 pilot study, we evaluated whether Light Technology™-treated wearables could influence strength metrics during a standardized performance test.
Study focus
Participants: 32 healthy adults (17 male, 15 female).
Protocol: Participants completed a standardized 25–30-minute workout (to reduce warm-up effects), then performed a 10-second isometric leg press on an ARX Alpha machine without and then with a Light Technology™-treated shirt (eyes closed to avoid visual feedback).
Key findings:

Biophoton Subtle Energy Technology is aimed to help farmers grow more resilient and productive plants. This technology can detect and diagnose diseases in plants, allowing farmers to better manage their crops and reduce the use of pesticides and other chemicals, resulting in a reduction in environmental pollution.
